About Digital400 Digital400 is a global technology consulting and software engineering company serving customers across Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, the UK and the US. We deliver AI and intelligent automation, custom software development, cloud, managed application services, cybersecurity and GRC and digital transformation consulting and we build our own SaaS products. Why this role exists Almost every company has run an AI pilot. Very few have got one into production. Industry research puts the failure rate around 88%, with pilots stalling on data quality, integration, monitoring and governance. The companies that succeed spend differently: on the engineering and managed services that make AI work. This role takes that proposition to market. You won't be selling AI as a novelty. You'll be selling the engineering that makes it survive real operations, to buyers who've already been burned once. What you'll own You'll build Digital400's business in an assigned international territory from a clean sheet, carrying your own new-business revenue target with quarterly milestones. You'll run the full sales cycle. Qualification, Discovery, Solution shaping with our Solution Architects and AI engineers, proposal, negotiation and close. And keep an accurate pipeline in HubSpot. You'll lead with our AI Readiness Assessment as the way into accounts, then grow into larger engineering and managed services engagements. You'll be supported by a Business Development Associate generating qualified meetings, Solution Architects and AI engineers on technical scoping and Sales Operations on data and reporting. What you'll be selling AI Readiness Assessment - A short, fixed-scope review of where a customer's data and systems stand (USD 8k–25k, 4–8 weeks). Our entry offer: small, fast to buy, and the core skill of this role. Pilot-to-Production - Turning a working proof-of-concept into something that survives real operations (3–5 months). AI Governance & Assurance - Model inventories, risk assessment, audit trails and controls, alongside our SaaS platform (3–6 months). Engineering & Managed Services - The longer-term custom development, cloud and application management engagements that follow (4–8 months). Who you'll sell to AI budgets have moved to line-of-business owners with operational problems to solve, with risk, compliance and legal now in the buying group on almost every deal. You'll need to be credible in both the commercial conversation and the governance one. What we're looking for Essential: 2+ years in B2B technology sales, with clear evidence of deals you personally closed. The ability to hold a credible conversation about why AI projects fail. Data readiness, integration, evaluation, governance, change management. You don't need to be an engineer, but you need to be taken seriously by one. Experience selling to international customers, comfortable with procurement, legal and multi-stakeholder buying. Comfort selling a small paid assessment as a route into a larger engagement, rather than chasing the big deal from day one. Excellent written and spoken English that holds up in front of a UK or US executive. Disciplined pipeline and forecast management, with the CRM habits to support it. Preferred: Experience selling AI, data, analytics or automation services, implementation rather than platform resale. Experience selling software development, IT consulting, cloud or managed services. Familiarity with AI governance, model risk or compliance conversations. An existing network in one or more of our target markets. HubSpot and LinkedIn Sales Navigator. Compensation & working style Competitive base salary and uncapped commission with accelerators above 100% of target, a training and professional development budget, and hybrid working from our Colombo office. Our customers span time zones, so expect some early or late calls, with time off in lieu when meetings fall well outside standard hours. How to apply Apply with your CV and short written answers to both: A prospect tells you their AI pilot worked well in testing but has been stuck for six months and never went live. What are the first three questions you ask, and why those three? In no more than 200 words, describe one B2B deal you personally closed: how you found it, who the buyer was, what nearly killed it, and what you did about it.

74,689 Sales Jobs Open Right Now — Where to Look

Most are in India and the US. Here's how to pick the right one for you.

WorkMundi's database shows 74,689 open sales positions globally. India leads with 17,483 jobs, followed by the US with 13,876. If you're open to geography, you have real options — but the sheer number means you need a filter. Don't apply to everything. Pick a country, a company size, and a sales model that matches what you actually want to do.

Almost 8 in 10 of these ads have their text written in English. That's useful for reading the job description and understanding what you're signing up for. But it tells you nothing about whether the role requires you to speak English with customers, partners, or your team. Ask the hiring manager directly during your first conversation.

The employers posting the most are boxlunch, SIMPLE RECRUIT, FlexBoard, and tmobile. If you see their name on a listing, you know they're actively hiring. That can work in your favor — high-volume recruiters often move faster. But volume also means competition. Your application needs to stand out.

Sales interviews almost always include a version of this: 'Tell me about a time you lost a deal. What did you learn?' Prepare a real story where you take ownership of what went wrong and what you'd do differently. Hiring managers want to see you learn, not just win.
