Role Description The Sales Specialist role is a full-time, on-site position based in Colombo. The Sales Specialist will manage the end-to-end sales cycle, including prospecting, qualifying leads, presenting vehicle options, preparing quotations, and closing deals. Daily responsibilities include engaging with customers and partners, responding to inquiries, providing product information, and maintaining strong relationships to support repeat business. The role involves coordinating with internal teams on inventory, logistics, and documentation to ensure smooth transactions and timely deliveries. The Sales Specialist will also track sales performance, support market development in targeted African regions, and participate in training or product updates to stay informed about offerings and market trends. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to engage clients professionally and build trust. Candidates should possess solid Sales and Sales Management skills to drive revenue, manage pipelines, and achieve targets. Candidates should possess the ability to deliver Training related to products, processes, or sales practices to internal teams or partners. Relevant experience in automotive sales, international trade, or B2B sales is highly beneficial. Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building capabilities are required. Ability to work on-site in Colombo, manage multiple accounts, and use CRM or sales tracking tools effectively. Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is an advantage; equivalent experience will be considered. Familiarity with African markets and import/export procedures will be a plus.
