Role Description The Call Center Pharmacist is a full-time, on-site role based in Egypt. This role is responsible for answering customer calls, providing accurate medication counseling, and addressing inquiries about prescriptions, over-the-counter products, and treatment plans. The Call Center Pharmacist will verify prescriptions, review potential drug interactions, and offer guidance on proper dosage, side effects, and storage. Daily tasks include documenting calls, maintaining up-to-date patient records, coordinating with in-store pharmacy teams, and ensuring compliance with local pharmacy regulations. The role also involves supporting customer education, handling medication-related concerns, and contributing to continuous improvement of client service standards. Qualifications Licensed pharmacist in Egypt with a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited institution. Strong clinical pharmacy knowledge, including pharmacology, drug interactions, dosing, and patient counseling. Effective communication and active listening skills for handling phone-based consultations and explaining medical information clearly. Customer service skills, including empathy, problem-solving, and the ability to manage difficult or urgent calls professionally. Basic computer literacy and familiarity with pharmacy management systems, electronic records, and call center tools. Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment, with strong attention to detail and commitment to regulatory and ethical standards. Fluency in Arabic and good command of English for medical terminology and documentation is preferred. Previous experience in a retail pharmacy, hospital pharmacy, or call center setting is an advantage.
