Das macht diesen Job für mich interessant: In dieser verantwortungsvollen Position bin ich Asset Manager*in für spezifische Schaltgeräte in Großanlagen im Bereich des strategischen Asset Managements. Vor dem Hintergrund des Wandels unseres Stromsystems, geprägt durch den Ausbau erneuerbarer Energien, die Einführung neuer DC-Technologien und SF6-freier Schaltgeräte, entwickle ich eine klare Strategie, Zielbilder und technische Grundsätze bzw. Vorgaben für meine Assets. Unsere Partnerbereiche begleite ich als Spezialist*in in der Umsetzung der einzelnen Lebensphasen (Planung, Beschaffung, Bau und Betrieb). Darüber hinaus wirke ich aktiv in internen und externen Gremien an der Weiterentwicklung der Anforderungen mit. Meine Aufgaben: Erarbeitung technischer Grundsätze / Vorgaben und einer Asset Strategie für spezifische Schaltgeräte in Großanlagen und Kabelübergabestationen, Technische und strategische Unterstützung des Einkaufs in Ausschreibungen zu meinen Assets, Weiterentwicklung der Instandhaltungsstrategie und Unterstützung des Betriebs, Unterstützung bei der Qualifizierung von Herstellern (z. B. durch Werks-Audits, Teilnahme an Werksprüfungen in Herstellerwerken oder Unterstützung vor der Inbetriebnahme), Vertretung der 50Hertz-Interessen im Rahmen der Gremienarbeit, Entwicklung und Begleitung eines Transformationspfades hin zu PFAS / SF6-freien Schaltgeräten (SF6-Phase-Out-Koordinator*in), Stakeholdermanagement mit relevanten internen Schnittstellenbereichen zum SF6-Phase-Out. Meine Kompetenzen: Abgeschlossenes Studium (Master, Diplom) in Elektrotechnik, elektrischer Energietechnik oder einer vergleichbaren Fachrichtung, Verständnis für elektrische Energiesysteme, DC-Netze / -Anlagen und deren Leistungselektronik, Ausgeprägte technische Affinität mit der Fähigkeit zur strategischen Einordnung, sowie ein hohes Maß an Eigeninitiative und Organisationsfähigkeit, Sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse (C1) sowie gute Englischkenntnisse (B2) in Wort und Schrift. Kein Muss, aber von Vorteil: Kenntnisse im Aufbau und der Funktionsweise von HGÜ-Konvertern sowie im Betrieb von DC-Netzen, Kenntnisse im risikobasierten Asset Management für optimale Instandhaltungsstrategien, Führerschein PKW. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.

Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
