Role Overview We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Techno-Marketing professional for our Commercial Lines / SME business vertical. The candidate will be responsible for handling end-to-end Client/Partner servicing, risk assessment, insurer coordination, policy placement, and business development support for SME and corporate accounts. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge of commercial insurance products along with relationship management and marketing capabilities. The role will also require building strong market intelligence and relationships with local insurance companies to ensure effective placement strategies and business support. Key Responsibilities Technical & Insurance Handling - Analyze Client/Partner insurance requirements and assess risk exposure. - Design and structure suitable insurance solutions for SME and commercial accounts. - Handle quotes, policy placement, renewals, endorsements, and claims coordination. - Prepare technical comparisons QCRs, coverage analysis, and policy reviews. - Coordinate with insurers for quotations, negotiations, and policy issuance. - Ensure proper documentation and compliance with underwriting guidelines. Marketing & Business Development - Support business acquisition and Client/Partner retention initiatives. - Develop and maintain strong relationships with Client/Partners and insurance companies. - Participate in Client/Partner meetings and provide technical presentations/solutions. - Identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities within existing accounts. - Assist sales teams with technical inputs during pitches and closures. Insurance Market Intelligence & Relationship Management - Build strong working relationships with local underwriting and branch teams of insurance companies. - Develop local market intelligence regarding underwriting appetite, pricing trends, competition movement, and insurer capabilities. - Liaise with insurers to ensure smooth turnaround and better negotiation outcomes. - Track market developments and provide strategic inputs to internal teams for business growth. Client/Partner Servicing - Provide prompt support and advisory services to Client/Partners. - Resolve Client/Partner queries related to coverage, claims, and policy servicing. - Ensure high levels of Client/Partner satisfaction and relationship management. Market Intelligence & Reporting - Stay updated on insurance market trends, products, and regulations. - Prepare MIS reports, renewal trackers, and business updates. Key Products Exposure - Fire Insurance - Marine Insurance - Liability Insurance - Engineering Insurance - Group Health / Employee Benefits - Miscellaneous Commercial Lines Desired Candidate Profile - Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline. - Professional insurance qualifications (III certification preferred). - Strong understanding of commercial insurance products and underwriting. - Good communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. - Solid networking abilities with insurer branches and underwriting teams. - Ability to manage Client/Partners independently. - Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and insurance systems. Preferred Background - Experience in Insurance Broking / General Insurance Companies. - Exposure to SME and mid-corporate accounts preferred.
