The RoleWe are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Marketing Executive (Animal Feed) to drive market development and sales growth across cattle feed, poultry feed, and fish feed. The role involves expanding the dealer and distributor network, developing strong relationships with farmers and key stakeholders, driving customer acquisition and retention, and ensuring timely collections and operational coordination. ResponsibilitiesDevelop the market for cattle, poultry, and fish feed through customer visits, farmer meetings, and field activities.Expand business by appointing new distributors, dealers, and developing existing customers.Identify and build relationships with cattle farmers, poultry farmers, fish farmers, milk collection centers, hatcheries, and other potential customers.Drive customer acquisition while ensuring retention of existing customers across all feed categories.Conduct regular market surveys, competitor analysis, and monitor product performance and pricing.Implement PDME (Plan, Do, Measure, Evaluate) to achieve sales targets across assigned territories.Build strong relationships with key opinion leaders and influencers in the livestock and aquaculture sectors.Convert prospective customers into regular buyers through consistent follow-up and technical support.Conduct daily market visits as per approved tour plans to generate sales opportunities.Organize farmer meetings, product demonstrations, and technical seminars in collaboration with Extension Managers.Resolve customer complaints promptly and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.Lead customer conversion initiatives and coordinate timely product deliveries.Ensure 100% collection of outstanding payments in line with company credit policies.Complete all customer onboarding documentation, credit agreements, dealership agreements, and related SOP documentation.Coordinate with the sales coordination and logistics teams to ensure efficient product dispatch and optimize transportation costs.Maintain updated customer and market databases categorized by geography, customer segment, and feed category.Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth execution of sales and customer service activities.Prepare regular sales reports, market intelligence, and business updates for management. QualificationsMust haveGraduate in Agriculture, Veterinary Science, Animal Husbandry, Fisheries, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline (MBA preferred).3-8 years of experience in animal feed, livestock, poultry, aquaculture, agribusiness, or FMCG sales.Proven experience in field sales, distributor development, and customer relationship management.Good understanding of cattle, poultry, and fish farming practices and feed products.Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory. QualitiesStrong sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.Excellent communication and presentation abilities.Customer-focused with strong problem-solving capabilities.Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and achieve targets.Strong planning, territory management, and analytical skills.Ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams.Data-driven approach to market development and sales performance tracking.
