Manager Content Development & Learning Experience

About the Company This is an individual contributor role within the Learning Experience Department, focused on the design and development of world-class, experiential, instructor-led learning content for mid to senior level leaders. The incumbent will work closely with clients and the sales team to understand learning needs, translate those needs into powerful learning designs, develop the content, and enable our trainers and facilitators to deliver it with excellence. The role combines deep instructional design and content development expertise with client needs discovery, trainer development (including train-the-trainer and onboarding of new facilitators), light-touch pre-sales solutioning and ownership of our learning technology and platforms. It is a craft-led, design-first role not a sales or account management role. Note: Core competency in instructor-led training (ILT/VILT) content design is mandatory. eLearning development and storyboarding are not a primary requirement of this role; candidates with such experience may be considered for the added versatility. Responsibilities Learning Design & Content Development Design and develop experiential, instructor-led training content for mid to senior level leaders.Create programme architectures, facilitator guides, participant workbooks, case studies, simulations, role plays, and end-to-end learning journeys.Apply instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and proven frameworks to build engaging, outcome-driven content.Design for both in-person and virtual instructor-led (VILT) formats, adapting content appropriately for each medium.Ensure every learning solution is aligned to client business objectives and target leadership competencies.Continuously refresh and improve existing content based on delivery feedback, learner outcomes, and emerging best practices.Client Relationship Management & Needs Discovery Partner with clients alongside the sales team to understand their context, diagnose learning needs, and shape the right solution.Conduct needs analysis and diagnostic conversations with L&D heads, HR leaders, and business sponsors.Serve as a consultative, design-focused point of contact for clients through the design and delivery lifecycle.Manage client communications, design reviews, feedback loops, and expectations proactively and professionally.Build trusted, credible relationships that reflect the quality and rigour of work and support high client satisfaction.Trainer & Facilitator Development & Management Identify, onboard, and develop new trainers and facilitators (Indian and global) into methodology and content.Run train-the-trainer sessions and certification processes to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery of designed content.Brief facilitators thoroughly and ensure alignment with programme objectives, design intent, and client culture.Provide coaching, feedback, and delivery support to facilitators to continuously raise the delivery bar.Maintain a bench of qualified facilitators mapped to programme types and competency areas.Learning Technology & Platforms (LXP) Own the day-to-day administration and management of Learning Experience Platform (LXP) and any related Learning Management Systems (LMS).Curate, structure, and publish learning content and journeys on the LXP to deliver a seamless learner experience.Leverage AI-based learning tools and technologies to enhance content quality, personalisation, and learner engagement.Support blended learning approaches by integrating appropriate digital tools and platforms.Stay current with trends in learning technology, digital facilitation tools, and AI-assisted learning, and bring recommendations to the team.Programme Delivery & Project Coordination Coordinate the design-to-delivery handoff for learning programmes, ensuring materials, facilitators, and platforms are ready.Track design milestones and manage quality and timelines across content development projects.Collaborate across internal teams, facilitators, and client stakeholders to ensure smooth, high-quality delivery of in-person and virtual programmes.Pre-Sales Solutioning Support (Light-Touch) Support the sales team and Head Learning Experience with learn .
