Social Media Coordinator | Chennai | Immediate Joinee

Location: Chennai Experience: 6 months 1 year Employment Type: Full-time About the Role Were looking for a Social Media Coordinator with at least 6 months of hands-on experience in social media and content. Youll work closely with our creative, content and marketing teams to manage and execute social media for a range of brands across fashion, lifestyle, luxury, beauty, home and eCommerce. Were looking for someone who understands how social media works, keeps up with trends, has a good eye for content and can keep multiple projects moving. What Youll Do Coordinate day-to-day social media activities across multiple client accounts.Assist in developing and maintaining monthly social media calendars.Research and suggest content ideas based on brand objectives, trends, occasions and current conversations.Coordinate with copywriters, designers, photographers and other team members to ensure content is delivered on time.Schedule and publish posts, Reels, Stories, carousels and other social media content.Assist with captions, hooks, CTAs and other short-form social copy.Stay updated on Instagram trends, Reels formats, trending audio and emerging content styles.Research competitors and relevant brands for content inspiration and opportunities.Coordinate shoots and gather content requirements from clients and internal teams.Manage content calendars, deadlines, approvals and publishing schedules.Coordinate client feedback and approvals.Ensure approved content is published accurately and on time.Monitor basic social media metrics such as reach, engagement, views and follower growth.Assist with monthly social media reports and content performance analysis.Support influencer and creator collaborations, including research and coordination.Contribute ideas for campaigns, Reels, social media series and brand storytelling.Work closely with the creative and content teams to maintain consistency across each brand.What Were Looking For 6 months 1 year of professional experience in social media, content, digital marketing or a related role.Freshers will not be considered.Strong understanding of Instagram and social media content formats.Good written and verbal communication skills.Good understanding of captions, hooks and CTAs.Strong organisational and coordination skills.Good eye for visual content and aesthetics.Ability to understand different brand voices, audiences and content styles.Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines.Proactive, responsible and comfortable taking ownership of tasks.Someone who actively follows social media trends and understands what makes content engaging.Comfortable working in a fast-paced creative agency environment.Bonus Points Experience working with fashion, lifestyle, luxury, beauty, home or eCommerce brands.Experience managing Instagram accounts for brands.Familiarity with Meta Business Suite and social media scheduling tools.Experience with influencer or creator coordination.Basic understanding of Meta Ads and social media performance.Experience coordinating photoshoots or video shoots.Basic Canva or other creative tool knowledge.Comfortable assisting with or appearing in Reels and social media content.The Kind of Person Were Looking For Youre organised enough to manage calendars and deadlines, but creative enough to know when a brand needs something different.
