Content Writer & SOP Writer Job Title: Content Writer & SOP Writer Industry: Study Abroad / Overseas Education Employment Type: Full-Time Experience: 13 Years Location: Vadodara, Gujarat About the Role We are looking for a talented Content Writer & SOP Writer to join our Study Abroad team. The ideal candidate should have excellent English writing skills and the ability to create engaging, informative, and conversion-focused content for students planning to study overseas. The role will involve writing SOPs, university application content, blogs, social media content, website copy, student profiles, and other study-abroad-related communication. Key Responsibilities Write and edit high-quality Statements of Purpose (SOPs), LORs, personal statements, and application essays.Understand students' academic backgrounds, career goals, achievements, and aspirations to create personalized SOPs.Develop engaging content related to Study Abroad, IELTS/PTE, universities, courses, countries, scholarships, visas, and international education.Create website content, blogs, landing pages, social media posts, emailers, and promotional content.Research universities, courses, destinations, admission requirements, and education trends.Proofread and edit content for grammar, clarity, tone, structure, and originality.Coordinate with counsellors and students to collect relevant information for SOP and application writing.Ensure content is student-specific, authentic, plagiarism-free, and professionally structured.Maintain consistency in brand tone and communication across different platforms.Handle multiple writing assignments while meeting deadlines. Required Skills Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.Strong storytelling, research, and editing abilities.Good understanding of Study Abroad / Overseas Education is preferred.Strong grammar, vocabulary, sentence formation, and proofreading skills.Ability to understand student profiles and convert information into compelling narratives.Familiarity with MS Word, Google Docs, Grammarly, ChatGPT/AI writing tools, and other content tools.Strong attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines. Preferred Candidate Graduate/Postgraduate in English, Journalism, Mass Communication, Literature, Marketing, or a related field.Prior experience in SOP writing, study-abroad content, education content, or overseas consultancy will be an advantage.Candidates with strong content-writing portfolios are preferred.
