Job Summary Key Responsibilities1. Business Development & Sales - Identify and develop new business opportunities in the freight forwarding and logistics sector. - Generate current leads through market visits, references, networking, industry databases, and other sources. - Identify potential importers, exporters, manufacturers, traders, distributors, and corporate customers. - Develop and maintain a strong customer pipeline and regularly follow up on prospective customers. - Conduct customer visits and understand their import, export, freight, and logistics requirements. - Promote the company's Air Freight, Sea Freight, Customs Clearance, Transportation, and other logistics services. - Prepare and submit competitive quotations in coordination with the Pricing and Operations teams. - Negotiate rates and commercial terms with customers within approved company guidelines. - Convert enquiries and quotations into confirmed business. - Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and GP targets. 2. Customer Relationship Management - Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing and prospective customers. - Regularly meet customers to understand their business requirements and upcoming shipments. - Identify opportunities for repeat business, cross-selling, and up-selling. - Handle customer queries and coordinate with internal teams for timely resolution. - Collect customer feedback and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. - Monitor customer accounts and identify opportunities to increase business volume. 3. Freight Forwarding Coordination - Understand customer requirements related to Import and Export shipments. - Coordinate with Operations, Pricing, Documentation, Customs Clearance, and Transportation teams. - Obtain freight rates from shipping lines, airlines, agents, and other service providers as required. - Ensure quotations are submitted to customers accurately and within the required timeline. - Follow up on shipment confirmations and ensure prop .
