Location: RemoteExperience: 1 - 3 YearsEducation: BE / BTech / Engineering Graduate in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related engineering disciplineAbout the Role:We are looking for a QA Engineer - Software from an Indian IT services background with up to 3 years of experience in software testing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in testing modern web applications built on ReactJS and NextJS, along with exposure to testing AI powered chat bots and voice bots.This role requires a strong understanding of functional and regression testing, UI and API validation, and test automation. The candidate should also understand conversational architecture and be able to test and validate bot behavior across intents, entities, multi-turn flows, fallbacks, context retention, escalation, and user experience scenarios.Key Responsibilities:- Design, prepare, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for software applications and AI bot workflows.- Perform manual testing, functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, exploratory testing, and UAT support.- Test web applications built on ReactJS and NextJS for functionality, UI behavior, navigation, responsiveness, compatibility, and end-to-end user journeys.- Validate APIs, backend integrations, and data flow between frontend applications, services, and AI bot systems.- Test AI-powered chat bots and voice bots for conversation quality, flow accuracy, and completion of business use cases.- Validate conversational architecture including intents, entities, prompts, decision trees, multi-turn conversations, fallback behavior, context retention, and human handoff or escalation scenarios.- Execute voice bot test scenarios covering speech variations, pauses, retries, interruptions, silence handling, and telephony-related behavior where applicable.- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web applications and AI bot workflows using suitable automation frameworks.- Support automation of regression suites for chatbot and voicebot conversations, including repeated validation across releases and bot updates.- Log, document, track, and retest defects using JIRA or similar defect management tools.- Work closely with developers, product managers, business analysts, and conversation designers to improve product quality and release readiness.- Participate in Agile or Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and test coverage.Required Skills:- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related field.- 1 to 3 years of experience in software QA or testing.- Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, defect lifecycle, and software quality processes.- Experience in manual testing and regression testing of web-based software applications.- Experience in testing applications built using ReactJS and/or NextJS.- Understanding of UI testing, API testing, integration testing, and end-to-end workflow validation.- Exposure to chatbot testing, voicebot testing, or conversational AI testing.- Understanding of conversational architecture concepts such as intents, entities, dialog flows, context management, fallback handling, escalation paths, and multi-turn interactions.- Exposure to automation testing concepts and frameworks for web application testing.
