JOB PURPOSE Manages primary contact function for all product/marketing issues related to assigned models and the competing brands in their class. Supervises the actions of product experts in their contacts with employees and vendors to answer questions or resolve issues. Contributes to building brand value and achieving enduring profitable growth. PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES EXPECTED END RESULTS MAJOR ACTIVITIES Develop right market fit Product for Nissan Brand and ensure life cycle proposals (Volume , Mix, gross profit, VME etc) Coordinates with Product Planning, Market Intelligence, Program Development in developing the plan Life Cycle management of assigned Product line-up to ensure one product refreshment Coordinate with Program Development, Product Planning and MI for inputs and freezing the plan Finalize M&S inputs for future products Contract Database, Volume logic, Price Positioning, FMI & VME spends etc. Coordinate with Product Planning, Program Development, Market Intelligence, Marcom & other relevant functions Lead the launch plan of assigned products for product GTM Plan, Co-ordinate with upstream on program schedule Develop launch plan in coordination with Marcom, PR & other relevant functions Develop strategy for the Product Pricing in line with Market development to ensure desired product competitiveness Tracking of Price movement of competition Periodic review of the same and propose price up / repositioning as per need Product owner to cascade relevant information for sales training & PR communication Co-ordinate defining & communicating key product messages for sales training, PR communication, media agency & other relevant functions MAJOR CHALLENGES To co-ordinate with multiple stakeholders (internal and external) and to represent consumers need/requirements To overcome challenges keep presenting facts and figures in a logical manner showcasing the evolving changes in the market.
