Assistant Finance Manager

About the Role The Assistant Finance Manager will support the day-to-day finance operations of Ev Lighting Sdn Bhd, including full-set accounting, month-end closing, management reporting, inventory records, budgeting and cash-flow monitoring. The role will also work with auditors, tax agents, bankers, suppliers and customers on routine accounting matters, while helping to improve finance processes and ensure accurate and timely reporting. Key Responsibilities Handle the full set of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and bank reconciliations. Perform month-end and year-end closing and prepare monthly management accounts. Process supplier invoices, customer billings, receipts, and payments accurately and on time. Monitor customer collections and follow up on overdue accounts. Maintain and reconcile inventory records, including inventory purchases, stock movements, and cost of goods sold (COGS). Assist in budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and financial analysis. Prepare schedules for audit, tax, and statutory reporting. Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers, suppliers, and customers on accounting matters. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and internal controls. Support the implementation and improvement of accounting systems and processes. Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned by Management. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience. Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
