About the role The chef will work with the head chef as well as on their own, preparing and creating meals. The person needs to be a team member and will be required to be involved in cleaning as well as food compliance and auditing. Key responsibilities Prepare and create meals including Pizzas Assist in developing new dishes Work with the head chef and independently Participate in cleaning Participate in food compliance and auditing Undertake other jobs when the business is quiet About you Level 4 NZQA qualification in Cookery/Chef or at least 4 years experience Team member, like working in a small team About us Currach Irish pub is located on a remote sub tropical island in the Hauraki Gulf. The business is seasonal and there is a likely to be a close down period in winter. It is great fun in the sun with the beach 100 metres away.
