About the role We are looking for an experienced and motivated Head Café Chef to join our busy café located in Beachland. This position would suit a confident chef who can handle busy breakfast and lunch services, and take greater responsibility for daily operations. Key responsibilities Preparing and presenting high-quality café meals Leading the kitchen during busy services Maintaining consistency, portion control and presentation standards Assisting with ordering, stock control and food-cost management Maintaining excellent food safety and cleanliness standards Helping with menu development Managing kitchen operations when required Working closely with management and front-of-house staff About you A minimum of 4–5 years' professional cooking experience Strong experience in a busy café or restaurant kitchen Confidence working across breakfast, brunch and lunch services Strong organisational and time-management abilities Knowledge of food costing, stock control and portion management The ability to remain calm and organised under pressure High standards of food quality, presentation and cleanliness A reliable, positive and hands-on attitude Café/pastry/basic baking (scones and muffin) experience is must Weekend shift availability (Saturday and Sunday) What we offer A stable full-time position Competitive pay based on experience A supportive and established café environment The opportunity to grow with the business Visa support to the right candidate.
