Job Description Assure quality conformance by implementation of product controls, prevention measures as well as containment of potential non-conformances for semi-products from raw material receiving until product delivery to the customer. All finished products of Calendering and Hot preparation; metrics: incidents, successful structured problem solving, Non conformity Management. Esurance of outgoing semi-product quality Ensure quality inspection policies and procedures are followed throughout the production and product process, fulfilling customer and internal central requirements. Decide on final disposition of off-standard products, in cooperation with Product Industrialization and Process Engineer Team. Measure and evaluate process and product key quality characteristics, e.g. via over-inspection at the required frequency and ensure appropriate corrective actions are taken when required. Drive the SPC process in the preparation areas. Esurance of quality management systems compliance in the preparation areas. Leading and directing a small group of quality inspectors. Annual budget control for Quality Management in Calendering and Preparation areas. Be facilitator structure problem solving and ambassador of quality behavior award. Reporting and Evaluation Preparation of quality records (control charts, trend charts…). Lead activities in the performance of special evaluations of product and process characteristic. ESH Ensure implementation of measures and maintain control. Raise awareness and provide information about ESH responsibilities and duties. Ensure immediate notification and response, and initiate preventive measures in case of unsafe or polluting hazards. Demonstrate exemplary personal behavior in ESH and motivate others. Qualifications Bachelor degree or above in engineering or scientific field. Minimum 3 years experience within Quality Management. Good knowledge of IATF16949 system and management process. Experience in quality management tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, 8D, etc.). Minimum of 2 years experience in leading a team. Project management knowledge. Good in spoken and written English. Working in international environment. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
Next, learn who's hiring. Accenture has posted 2,801 engineer roles. andurilindustries, speechify, and jobgether are also actively recruiting. If you're applying to one of these names, research their hiring patterns and interview style before you apply. That homework pays off.
When you interview, expect the question every engineer hears: 'Tell me about a time you had to debug a problem that wasn't in your job description.' Have a specific story ready—not a general one. Name the tools, the deadline pressure, and what you learned. Hiring managers listen for whether you see problem-solving as part of the role itself, not a favour.
