The Opportunity A genuinely hands-on marketing role on Australia’s largest foodservice trade event, Fine Food Australia, where what you deliver is what makes the difference. Own and grow the social media presence and website for one of Australia’s best-known trade event brands A true execution role with clear direction, mentoring and career development provided Hybrid flexibility (2 days WFH) plus the benefits and perks of our CBD office As Marketing Coordinator for Fine Food Australia, you’ll take real ownership of the brand’s social media and website content, while supporting the Marketing Manager to deliver campaigns across the year. Fine Food’s national scale, its rotating Melbourne/Sydney format and its hugely diverse exhibitor community — from bakery and dairy to hospitality technology and artisanal producers — give you genuine breadth and variety. This is a doing role, not a strategy role. You’ll work to the direction of an experienced Marketing Manager, execute multi-channel campaigns to a high standard and take genuine ownership of Fine Food’s social and website content. If you love getting things done well and you’re a couple of years into your marketing career, ready to build real craft — this could be your next role! The Company & Values Fine Food Australia is the country’s largest foodservice trade event, connecting a large and diverse community of buyers, producers and industry professionals across everything from bakery and dairy to hospitality technology and artisanal producers. The event rotates annually between Melbourne and Sydney, giving the brand a truly national profile and its marketing genuine variety from year to year. Fine Food is part of Diversified Australia, an award-winning exhibitions company that connects, educates and strengthens business communities through market-leading events, digital products and publications. Our operating divisions and offices are strategically located around the world to provide local expertise and global market access to the industries we serve. For more details please visit: www.divcom.net.au The Role Reporting to the Marketing Manager – Fine Food, this role is both an execution partner and an independent owner. You’ll support the delivery of multi-channel campaigns across email, digital, social and content, executing to the Marketing Manager’s direction and agreed timelines, while taking genuine, independent ownership of Fine Food’s social media presence and website content. Here’s how the balance works: On campaigns, you’re a close execution partner. The Marketing Manager sets the strategy and direction; you deliver the work reliably, to deadline and raise questions or issues early. You won’t be handheld - but this isn’t a role where you set the strategic agenda. On your owned channels (social and website), you work with a high degree of independence. You bring ideas, manage your own workload and spot what needs doing without waiting to be asked. The best Marketing Coordinators don’t just complete tasks, they take initiative within their patch, bring a creative eye and help the team deliver more than the sum of its parts. Key responsibilities include: Social Media & Website – Ownership: Own and grow Fine Food’s social media presence and website — developing content calendars, creating engaging on-brand content (copy, graphics, short-form video) and maintaining the site via WordPress (Elementor) year-round, including off-cycle periods between events. Campaign Execution Support: Assist the Marketing Manager in delivering multi-channel campaigns including email marketing (Salesforce Account Engagement), digital advertising, content and PR; coordinate assets, manage database and list tasks, and support supplier coordination. Visitor & Exhibitor Enquiries: Serve as the first point of contact for inbound enquiries through the Fine Food inbox, responding promptly and escalating where needed. Onsite Event Support: Assist with onsite marketing at the event including registration, signage, real-time social coverage, video interviews and photographer/videographer coordination. Interstate travel is required, as the event rotates between Melbourne and Sydney. Administration & Reporting: Maintain campaign documentation in Asana, support post-event reporting and performance analysis, and assist with budget reconciliation. Is this the right role for you? Please take a moment before you apply - a strong application shows you understand what this role actually is and isn’t a generic auto-apply. This role will suit you if you: Have a couple of years’ hands-on marketing experience (roughly 2–3 years) and want to deepen your craft Love executing well - getting campaigns and content out the door to a high standard Are happy owning social and a website day-to-day, with solid digital fundamentals (you don’t need to be a deep digital specialist) Take initiative within your own patch while following the Marketing Manager’s lead on strategy Enjoy the variety of a large-scale national event with a diverse exhibitor community This role is probably not the right fit if you: Are looking for a strategic, management or “own the direction” role Want full autonomy over marketing strategy rather than owning execution Are at graduate / entry level with little or no marketing experience Want to specialise deeply in a single digital discipline e.g. performance / paid media Skills & Experience We’re looking for a doer with a few years of marketing under their belt - someone who understands marketing fundamentals, executes reliably and takes ownership of their own channels. Essential: 2–3 years’ experience in a marketing role, with exposure to multi-channel campaign execution (B2B or event environment ideal) Demonstrated ability to manage and grow a brand’s social media presence, with strong content creation across copy, graphics and short-form video Comfortable owning website content, ideally in WordPress or a similar CMS — solid digital fundamentals, without needing to be a deep digital marketing specialist Strong, clear written communication for different audiences and channels Genuinely organised and detail-oriented — juggles multiple tasks without dropping quality or missing deadlines Takes initiative on owned work and follows through, while working comfortably to a Marketing Manager’s direction on broader campaigns Basic understanding of email marketing platforms; Salesforce Account Engagement or similar a plus Proficient in Microsoft Office; Canva or similar design tools a plus Nice to have: Interest in or familiarity with the foodservice, hospitality or food industry A relevant marketing qualification or degree Exposure to event or exhibition marketing Basic knowledge of Google Analytics or social media analytics tools You’ll thrive here if you’re: Eager to learn and grow — you seek feedback and look beyond the day-to-day Creative and ideas-driven within your patch — you bring fresh thinking to content and channels Collaborative and team-oriented — you contribute to the team’s success, not just your own workstreams Detail-oriented and reliable — you catch errors before they become problems Energised by execution — you get real satisfaction from delivering great work, not from owning the strategy Professionally curious — genuinely interested in the foodservice and hospitality industry Fine Food serves How to Apply Please apply with your CV and a short cover letter (1–2 pages) addressing the following: Why an execution-focused Marketing Coordinator role is the right move for you right now and, in a line or two, what you understand the day-to-day of this role to be Your relevant marketing experience, particularly owning or growing social media and website content Something unique about your background that you’d bring to this role and the team Applications that clearly engage with the role - rather than a generic cover letter - will stand out.

Four employers are posting at scale: SIMPLE RECRUIT (1,205 jobs), ROYAL ORG PTE. LTD. (795), SKILLMATCH RECRUITMENT (435), and jobgether (371). If you see a job from one of these names, you're looking at a company that hires marketing roles repeatedly. That's a signal of stability—and a chance to learn their hiring patterns across multiple openings.

In your interview, expect this question: 'Tell us about a time you measured the success of a campaign.' Marketing hiring managers ask this because they want proof you think in metrics, not hunches. Come with a real example—conversions, clicks, revenue, engagement rate, cost per acquisition—pick the metric that mattered most. Show you track what you do.
