Job Description The Finance Manager is responsible for the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of the Group's financial records and reporting. This role manages the full accounting cycle across both operating entities, delivers monthly and consolidated management accounts, safeguards company assets through strong internal controls, and ensures full compliance with accounting standards, the Companies Act 2016, and all tax and regulatory requirements. Job Responsibilities Manage full sets of accounts (general ledger, AP, AR, fixed assets, inventory) and close books monthly for both entities Prepare Group consolidated and combined financial statements, including intercompany eliminations Ensure compliance with MFRS standards in financial reporting Liaise with external auditors and manage the statutory audit process to completion Handle corporate tax compliance with LHDN (CP204, Form C, tax computations) and ensure SST, withholding tax, and e-Invoicing compliance Prepare monthly management reports, coordinate annual budgeting, and analyse budget vs. actual variances Manage Group cash flow, rolling forecasts, and banking facilities (loans, hire purchase, trade lines) Oversee working capital — debtor/creditor ageing and inventory levels Review and authorise payments within approved limits Strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and segregation of duties Maintain the fixed asset register and coordinate periodic asset verification Support due diligence, audits, and other corporate/special projects as required Support accounting/ERP system implementation and process improvements Lead, coach, and appraise the finance and accounts team Job Requirements Must be a member of MIA or ACCA (mandory), CPA Australia, CA (ANZ/ ICAEW), MICPA or CIMA also considered Bacherlor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance or a recognised professional accountancy qualification Minimum 5 years' post qualification experience at a managerial level (Finance Manager, Assistant Finance Manager, Financial Controller, Audit Manager or equivalent), with hands-on ownership of a full set of accounts Strong understanding of MFRS, Companies Act 2016, Malaysian corporate taxation, SST and e-Invoicing Proficient in accounting/ERP systems and advance Excel Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin is an added advantage.
