Hiring Company : Sea Master Food Sdn Bhd The Role : The person is responsible to assist the Finance Manager in areas relating to accounts of the Company. This person will be responsible for maintaining accounting records and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. This position addresses tight deadlines and multitude of accounting activities including general ledger and financial reporting. This person requires strong self-discipline, interpersonal communication skills both written and verbal qualification and experience. Responsibilities: Performing day-to-day operations and activities of Finance Department including Cashflow Management, Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payables. Update cash book records on daily basis. Key in accounting entries accurately into accounting system. Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing, and prepare reporting under Group’s requirement. Assist in handle full set of accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Ensure timely closing and submission of financial statements. Responsible for monthly balance sheet reconciliation and bank reconciliation. Monitoring inter-company transactions, balances and reconciliations. Assist in midyear forecasting and yearly budgeting. Assist in handle with Company auditors, tax agents and regulatory bodies. Perform any other duties as assigned by management. Requirements: Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/ Degree in Accounting. Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English. At least 3-4 years of working experience in related fields is required for this position. External audit experience would be an added advantage. Ability to work effectively, both independently and as a team member. Effective communication skills with all related departments. Required skill(s): Ms Office & related Accounting system experience.
