Business System Analyst – Avaloq / Private Banking

Key Responsibilities Review business cases and define high-level requirements, project scope, and specifications. Conduct workshops with business users and stakeholders to identify, gather, and confirm requirements. Assess gaps between existing system/software capabilities and business requirements and recommend appropriate resolutions. Develop, review, and maintain User Specification Documents and related documentation. Translate business and functional requirements into test conditions and expected results. Support product, performance, system, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Work closely with testers and stakeholders to ensure defined business requirements and functionality are successfully delivered. Provide functional support during implementation and the post-implementation warranty period. Prepare detailed design documents, technical documentation, and unit test cases where required. Apply strong programming and system logic knowledge involving arithmetic operations, program flow control, file access, externally described files, display screens, and reports. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline; equivalent professional experience may also be considered. 7–9 years of experience in banking applications , preferably within Private Banking. Experience and knowledge of Private Banking products is an added advantage. Avaloq experience/exposure is highly preferred. Avaloq Certified Professional certification is an added advantage. Strong technical and analytical capabilities with good design and estimation skills. Good understanding of requirements gathering, gap analysis, functional specifications, testing, and UAT. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Able to work effectively across multiple teams and manage priorities and timelines. Result-oriented, highly technical, and capable of working independently
