Every busy kitchen in Dar es Salaam runs on ingredients it can trust. Mushus Group Limited is growing the footprint of Knorr products across the city’s hotels, restaurants, and cafés — and we’re hiring a field salesperson to own that growth, outlet by outlet. About Mushus Group Limited Mushus Group Limited supplies Knorr products to the foodservice trade in Dar es Salaam — the hotels, restaurants, cafés, and caterers known as the HORECA channel. Our business is built on dependable supply and close relationships with the people who run professional kitchens. About the role Twelve months in, you will have built a territory that runs like clockwork: a growing base of active HORECA accounts, steady repeat orders, and chefs and purchasing managers who know you by name. You will spend most of your week in the field — walking into kitchens, understanding each outlet’s menu and food costs, and showing how Knorr fits in. This role is for someone who enjoys the hustle of the street and the craft of the sale in equal measure. What you’ll do • Own a Dar es Salaam territory and deliver monthly sales targets for both turnover and new accounts. • Prospect and open new HORECA outlets — hotels, restaurants, cafés, bars, and caterers. • Build lasting relationships with chefs, food & beverage managers, and procurement leads to keep repeat orders flowing. • Run product demonstrations and tastings, recommending Knorr solutions that suit each kitchen’s menu and budget. • Keep Knorr products visible, priced right, and in stock at every account — taking orders and following through to delivery. • Follow up on payments and keep your customer accounts healthy. • Report weekly on sales performance, pipeline, and competitor activity in the market. What we’re looking for Required: • 2–4 years of field sales experience in FMCG or foodservice. • A track record of hitting sales targets and opening new accounts. • Fluent Swahili and working English. • Comfortable spending most of the working week on the move across Dar es Salaam. • Strong communication, negotiation, and follow-through. Nice to have: • An existing network of HORECA customers in Dar es Salaam. • Experience selling culinary or food ingredients. • A valid driving licence. • Comfortable keeping simple records on a smartphone (orders, visits, payments). How to apply WhatsApp us on +255 769 201 528 with a short message covering two things: why you are the right person to sell Knorr to Dar es Salaam’s kitchens , and your minimum expected salary . Applications are reviewed as they arrive.

74,689 Sales Jobs Open Right Now — Where to Look

Most are in India and the US. Here's how to pick the right one for you.

WorkMundi's database shows 74,689 open sales positions globally. India leads with 17,483 jobs, followed by the US with 13,876. If you're open to geography, you have real options — but the sheer number means you need a filter. Don't apply to everything. Pick a country, a company size, and a sales model that matches what you actually want to do.

Almost 8 in 10 of these ads have their text written in English. That's useful for reading the job description and understanding what you're signing up for. But it tells you nothing about whether the role requires you to speak English with customers, partners, or your team. Ask the hiring manager directly during your first conversation.

The employers posting the most are boxlunch, SIMPLE RECRUIT, FlexBoard, and tmobile. If you see their name on a listing, you know they're actively hiring. That can work in your favor — high-volume recruiters often move faster. But volume also means competition. Your application needs to stand out.

Sales interviews almost always include a version of this: 'Tell me about a time you lost a deal. What did you learn?' Prepare a real story where you take ownership of what went wrong and what you'd do differently. Hiring managers want to see you learn, not just win.
