Visit our Institutional Page About The Role As a Senior contributor within the Computing Squad, you will be in contact with critical pieces of foundational infrastructure where the majority of Nubank's workloads run, including Kubernetes, AWS, Network, and Service Communications. You will contribute to our Computing product strategy, find opportunities to improve our infrastructure, and set a high technical standard for the team. What You’ll Be Responsible For Contribute to our Computing product roadmap by identifying improvement opportunities within your team's scope, working closely with peers and Product Managers. Proactively identify and pursue opportunities to improve our infrastructure in areas like performance, costs, and governance, focusing on your team's systems. Act as a technical reference within the team, mentoring more junior engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and documentation to support a high-quality technical environment. Participate in technical forums and cross-functional discussions, documenting and communicating technical decisions clearly to stakeholders within your immediate team or project. Identify potential technical and product issues within your area of ownership, proposing design decisions to mitigate them. Analyze problems to uncover root causes and develop effective solutions for team-level challenges, with a focus on medium-term impact. Understand the technical aspects, capabilities, and limitations of the systems you own, contributing to discussions and incremental improvements. We Are Looking For a Person Who Has Must-have Experience and knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS). Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Kubernetes and AWS EKS. Experience with access management (AWS IAM, Role management). Experience with scaling tools like Karpenter, KEDA, and HPA. Experience with the Golang programming language. A passion for sharing knowledge and mentoring other engineers. Creativity and analytical thinking to find opportunities to improve our Computing Platform. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.

Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
