Responsibilities: Manage and maintain accurate records of accounts payable and accounts receivable. Process supplier invoices, payments, receipts, and customer transactions. Monitor outstanding customer balances and follow up on receivables. Reconcile bank statements, customer accounts, supplier accounts, and general ledger balances. Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation. Assist with monthly financial reports, management accounts, and financial analysis. Monitor cash flow and support cash management activities. Process staff expenses, reimbursements, and other approved payments. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. Ensure timely and accurate posting of financial transactions. Support internal and external audits by providing required schedules and documentation. Ensure compliance with company financial policies, accounting standards, and applicable tax requirements. Identify discrepancies and resolve accounting issues promptly. Maintain proper filing and confidentiality of financial documents. Support the Finance Manager/Head of Finance with other financial and accounting activities as required. Requirements: Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field. 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance. Strong practical knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable. Good understanding of bank and ledger reconciliations. Experience with invoicing, payment processing, expense management, and financial reporting. Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial controls. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems. Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills. High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and integrity. Ability to manage deadlines and work effectively with minimal supervision. Professional accounting qualification such as ICAN, ACCA, or ACA is an added advantage.
