If you love working with great people, take pride in putting out quality food, and thrive in an day time cooking environment ? we want to hear from you._ The Role As a Line Cook at Cora Breakfast and Lunch, you'll be a key part of our Back of House team ? prepping, cooking, and plating dishes with speed, consistency, and care. Working alongside a solid crew, you'll help deliver the quality food and guest experience that keeps our regulars coming back and new guests walking through the door. What You'll Be Doing * Prepare and cook menu items to recipe standards, ensuring consistent quality and presentation on every plate. * Set up, stock, and maintain your station before, during, and after service. * Work efficiently across multiple stations as required, adapting to the pace and demands of service. * Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health & safety protocols at all times. * Communicate clearly and professionally with the kitchen team and supervisors during service. * Assist with food prep, mise en place, and daily kitchen tasks as directed. * Contribute to a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment. * Support the team during high-volume service periods, special events, and as business demands require. * Work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. What We're Looking ForRequired * Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a professional kitchen environment. * Solid understanding of kitchen fundamentals ? knife skills, cooking techniques, station management. * Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen while maintaining quality and composure. * Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive team-first attitude. * Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays ? the pub runs when others celebrate. * Legally authorized to work in Canada ? candidates must be eligible to work in Canada. * Food handler certification or willingness to obtain upon hire. Nice to Have * Culinary diploma or professional culinary training. * Experience in a pub, bar, or casual dining kitchen. * Knowledge of New Brunswick food safety and public health standards. * Experience working in a team-oriented, multi-station kitchen.
