Our Grande Prairie office is seeking an experienced Intermediate Civil Engineer to join our Municipal and Transportation Infrastructure team. Your main responsibilities Oversee and manage municipal engineering projects from inception through completion Perform design, construction site inspections, and contract administration duties Develop and review engineering design drawings, specifications, and contract documents Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with project specifications and standards Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success Coordinate designs and construction inspections with multiple disciplines Provide mentorship and support to junior engineers and technologists What makes you unique B.Sc. in Civil Engineering and eligibility for professional membership with APEGA Minimum of 5 years of experience in municipal and transportation engineering, with a strong preference for candidates with hands-on experience in construction observation and contract administration Working knowledge of water and wastewater distribution and collection systems Proficiency in computer software for modeling and spreadsheet analysis Proficiency in CAD design modelling software Demonstrated aptitude for general construction methods Strong business acumen and understanding of municipal infrastructure and transportation projects Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team atmosphere Self-motivated with leadership potential and project management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills What makes Englobe unique At Englobe, you'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects of every size and scope. Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
