Learn more about us by visiting our website at polyfabindustrial.com *The Position:* We are looking for an experienced *Business Development Manager / Technical Sales Representative* to help grow our customer base, strengthen existing relationships, and identify new project opportunities across Canada and the Northern United States. This is a hands-on business development role for someone who understands industrial environments, is comfortable building relationships at the plant level, and can identify opportunities where Polyfab's technical capabilities can provide value. *What You Will Do:* Business Development & Sales * Identify and pursue new business opportunities within mining, aggregate, cement, pulp and paper, power generation, manufacturing, processing, and other heavy industrial sectors. * Develop and execute sales strategies to expand Polyfab's presence across Canada and the Northern United States. * Build relationships with plant managers, maintenance managers, project managers, procurement teams, engineering firms, general contractors, and other key decision-makers. * Generate and qualify leads through networking, industry contacts, cold outreach, trade shows, referrals, and site visits. * Maintain an active pipeline of opportunities and provide regular sales forecasts and updates. * Identify upcoming shutdowns, maintenance programs, installations, plant expansions, equipment installations, conveyor projects, piping projects, and other opportunities for Polyfab's field service teams. * Develop new accounts while continuing to grow relationships with existing customers. Technical Sales & Account Management * Work with customers to understand their operational, maintenance, and project requirements. * Partner with Polyfab's internal operations and technical teams to develop appropriate service solutions. * Prepare and present proposals, quotations, scopes of work, and service offerings. * Support the development of competitive pricing and project proposals. * Negotiate commercial terms and support contract discussions. * Maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and long-term partnerships. * Follow projects and opportunities from initial lead through quotation, award, and handoff to the operations team. * Maintain accurate records of customer activity, opportunities, and sales pipeline. *What You Bring:* * 5+ years of experience in business development, technical sales, industrial services, or a related field. * Experience selling into industrial, manufacturing, mining, processing, construction, maintenance, or similar environments. * Strong understanding of industrial projects, maintenance activities, and/or millwright and mechanical services. * Demonstrated ability to develop new business and build long-term customer relationships. * Comfortable prospecting and creating new opportunities rather than relying solely on inbound leads. * Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. * Ability to understand customer requirements and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. * Strong organizational skills with the ability to independently manage a large geographic territory and active sales pipeline. * Valid driver's licence and ability to travel regularly throughout Canada and the United States. * Ability to legally travel to the United States for business purposes. *Why Join Our Team?* * Opportunity to grow in * Location Kitchener , ON Work location On site Salary $ 85,000 to $ 95,000 YEAR annually Terms of employment Permanent employment Full time Starts as soon as possible vacancies 1 vacancy Source indeed.com #10230548308 Various locations Kitchener, ON
