*Key Responsibilities* * Supervise daily warehouse operations; plan and distribute workloads; maintain safe and organized material flow; and ensure materials are received, inspected, identified, preserved, stored, issued, transferred, and shipped accurately and on time. * Maintain inventory accuracy, accountability, and traceability through system transactions, cycle counts, stocktaking, audits, and reconciliations. * Support RFQs, quotations, purchase orders, sourcing, supplier follow-up, and vendor relationships; coordinate internal requirements, expedite critical materials, monitor supplier performance, support evaluations, and identify cost or process improvements. * Coordinate domestic and international shipments, shipping documentation, customs, freight, transportation, and material transfers among DND, suppliers, contractors, and internal departments; monitor inbound and outbound deliveries. * Serve as the departmental DRMIS and/or other inventory/logistical software?s Material Management subject-matter expert; maintain material records, inventory transactions, work-order allocations, and stock locations; analyze inventory usage, shortages, and trends; and maintain standardized DRMIS and/or other inventory/logistical software?s procedures, provide user guidance and training. * Supervise, coach, and support personnel; manage performance, feedback, onboarding, training, workforce planning, and workload balancing; and promote accountability, teamwork, and professionalism. * Monitor warehouse and inventory performance; maintain procedures, work instructions, DRMIS and/or other inventory/logistical software?s and inventory reports, and KPIs; support audits, planning meetings, cross-functional projects, and departmental reporting; and implement continuous improvements. * Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable health, safety, environmental, quality, Controlled Goods, customer, contractual, and legislative requirements; support departmental priorities and act as the Procurement and Logistics Manager?s delegate during absences. * Support other operational initiatives, projects, and departmental priorities as assigned. *Qualifications & Experience* * Post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, Commerce, or a related discipline, with at least five years of relevant experience and two years in a supervisory or team-lead role; an equivalent combination may be considered. * Experience with ERP or material-management systems such as SAP, DRMIS and/or other inventory/logistical software?s, advanced Microsoft Office skills (particularly Excel), and the ability to develop reports, KPIs, and operational metrics. * Strong knowledge of supply chain, procurement, supplier management, warehouse, inventory, and logistics practices, with sound analytical, planning, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. * Experience in manufacturing, industrial, defence, military, aerospace, or another regulated environment is considered an asset. * Eligibility to obtain and maintain Controlled Goods Program registration and any Government of Canada security clearance required by the Company.
