With over 750 skilled employees across six state-of-the-art facilities in Canada and Poland, totaling 450,000 square feet, Cyclone Manufacturing is committed to excellence, innovation, and quality. *Position Summary* We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Manufacturing Engineer who will be responsible for supporting new product introduction, industrialization, and continuous improvement of aerospace components and assemblies. This role ensures compliance with aerospace quality standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements while optimizing manufacturing processes for safety, quality, delivery, and cost. The position works cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Programming, and Shop Operations to drive operational excellence and production readiness. *Here?s What You?ll Deliver* *New Product Introduction (NPI) & Industrialization* * Lead manufacturing activities for *New Product Introduction (NPI)* programs. * Conduct engineering and technical feasibility reviews per aerospace customer specifications and contract requirements. * Drive part industrialization activities including APQP, risk assessments, PFMEA, Control Plans, and process validation. * Support new bids by providing manufacturing input on cost, process capability, and lead times. *Process Development & Optimization* * Develop, document, and improve manufacturing procedures, work instructions, and tooling concepts. * Create and maintain Assembly Process Maps and detailed routing structures. * Implement new machining technologies, resources, and process improvements based on shop floor requirements. * Serve as the primary manufacturing interface with CNC Programming for methods integration and process optimization. *Quality & Compliance* * Support aerospace quality standards (e.g., AS9100, NADCAP, customer-specific requirements). * Participate in Root Cause & Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations. * Ensure manufacturing processes meet regulatory, safety, and traceability requirements. * Coordinate rework production orders in collaboration with Quality and Operations. *Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement* * Implement Lean manufacturing initiatives including 5S, waste reduction, and process flow improvements. * Standardize dashboard reporting and manufacturing performance metrics. * Analyze cycle times and update system templates to reflect accurate production standards. * Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, efficiency, and cost reduction. *ERP & Production Control Support* * Maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and routing structures in ERP systems. * Maintain ERP settings. * Ensure correct global and route-specific lead times, coverage groups, and default order parameters. * Support preventative maintenance documentation and production system data integrity. *Production Support* * Provide hands-on shop floor support to resolve technical and process-related manufacturing issues. * Support reprogramming activities and Dwg updates as required. * Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure on-time delivery and production readiness. *Qualification * *Education* * Bachelor?s degree in manufacturing engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. *Experience* * 2+ years of experience in aerospace or high-precision manufacturing environment. * Experience with CNC machining, assembly processes, and production systems. * Working knowledge of APQP, PFMEA, Control Plans, and pro Location Mississauga , ON Work location On site Salary $ 26.00 to $ 28.00 HOUR hourly Terms of employment Permanent employment Full time Starts as soon as possible vacancies 1 vacancy Source indeed.com #10227672577 Various locations Mississauga, ON
