The Business Development and Partnerships Associate will support the company in building and operating a repeatable go-to-market system. This associate-level role is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, research-oriented, commercially curious, and interested in learning business development, partnerships, sales operations, and technology solutions. Key Responsibilities Business Development Support Research target companies, industries, decision-makers, and potential client opportunities. Build and maintain target account lists based on priority customer segments. Support initial lead qualification by gathering information on business needs, company fit, decision-makers, timing, and potential opportunity value. Prepare pre-meeting briefs for discovery calls, partner meetings, and client conversations. Document meeting notes, client needs, objections, buying signals, next steps, and follow-up actions. Coordinate sales follow-through for active opportunities. CRM and Pipeline Management Support CRM hygiene and reporting discipline across GTM activities. Track leads, qualified opportunities, proposals, partner referrals, and follow-up schedules. Prepare weekly or monthly pipeline updates for internal review. Monitor stale opportunities and ensure follow-ups are not missed. Partnerships and Referral Program Support Build and maintain the company’s partner and referral tracker. Research potential referral partners, strategic partners, collaborators, subcontractors, marketing partners, and ecosystem partners. Coordinate follow-ups with potential partners and referral sources. Document partner fit, collaboration type, referral status, next steps, and potential opportunity areas. Assist in preparing materials that partners can use to understand and refer the company’s services. Track partner-sourced opportunities and ensure proper follow-through. Sales and Proposal Coordination Support coordination between Product and Delivery Management, Engineering, Finance, and other relevant teams during opportunity assessment Help ensure opportunities are reviewed for fit, delivery feasibility, commercial quality, and next-step readiness. Assist in preparing proposal inputs, client background research, and opportunity summaries. Track proposal status, client responses, pending requirements, and next actions. Ensure commercial opportunities are properly documented before moving forward. Market Feedback and Offering Validation Support Document market feedback from client conversations, partner discussions, and commercial validation activities. Capture customer pains, objections, buying signals, pricing feedback, and segment fit. Support validation efforts for company-owned or emerging offerings, including productized services, AI-enabled packages, and venture/incubation concepts. Prepare summaries of market learnings to support GTM, product, and leadership discussions. Marketing and GTM Coordination Support Coordinate with internal and external marketing partners, agencies, or freelancers when needed. Support preparation of GTM materials such as company profiles, service one-pagers, product overviews, case study inputs, and campaign lists. Help organize lead source tracking across referrals, partners, outbound activities, events, digital channels, and existing networks. Assist in monitoring GTM activity and lead source effectiveness. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Entrepreneurship, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field. 1–3 years of experience in business development, sales support, partnerships, account coordination, marketing operations, customer success, or a related role. Strong research, documentation, coordination, and follow-through skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Organized and detail-oriented, especially in tracking leads, next steps, and follow-ups. Comfortable using spreadsheets, CRM tools, productivity tools, and documentation platforms. Willingness to learn about technology solutions, digital transformation, software development, AI-enabled services, and business operations. Ability to work directly with senior leadership and coordinate across teams.
