About the role As our Sales Manager, you will recruit, train, and manage a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) or Account Executives (AEs). You'll serve as a coach and strategist, empowering your team to hit key performance indicators (KPIs) and overcome sales obstacles by optimizing pitches and processes. The ideal candidate has strong sales expertise and understands that building trust and rapport with our pros is crucial for long-term relationships. In this pivotal role, you will directly influence the team's growth and company revenue by surfacing key insights from sales conversations, testing new data sources and processes, and improving the quality and quantity of pros on our platform. What you’ll do Team Leadership: Cultivate a high-morale, high-performance sales culture by setting and achieving ambitious team goals. Coaching & Development: Train and mentor all team members, from new hires to tenured staff, on sales strategies, scripting, and processes, particularly within a remote environment. Process Improvement: Manage dynamic sales campaigns, optimize team productivity, and streamline the workflow and operations for SDRs or AEs. Product Expertise: Become an expert in the product and clearly articulate its value to every professional. Performance Management: Consistently monitor and document team performance. In order to be successful, you must bring An expert in solution-based selling, able to align prospect goals and pain points with product solutions. A minimum of 3 years of sales experience, plus 2–3 years of direct people management experience leading a team of sales closers. Proven ability to motivate and influence a team, fostering a positive and collaborative sales environment. Expertise in creating scalable processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Proficient with CRM and sales tools; Salesforce experience is a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate product benefits and features clearly and persuasively. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively while remaining available and accessible to the team. Prior B2B, marketing, or advertising sales experience. Proficiency with Salesforce and Google Suite. A tech-savvy individual who quickly adapts to new tools.
