Project Role : Scrum Master Project Role Description : Acts as an enabler for the effective functioning of a software development team using Agile methodologies. Coaches and mentors the Scrum Team(s), removing barriers to successful implementation and enabling a continued focus on the task at hand. Facilitates scrum and agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Identifies and reports progress via appropriate metrics. Must have skills : ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) Good to have skills : NA Minimum 7.5 Year(s) Of Experience Is Required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary: In the role of Scrum Master, a typical day involves enabling the smooth operation of a software development team by fostering an environment that supports Agile practices. This includes guiding the team through various Agile ceremonies, ensuring that obstacles are promptly addressed, and maintaining a steady focus on project goals. The Scrum Master actively facilitates communication and collaboration within the team and across stakeholders, while continuously monitoring progress and promoting a culture of continuous improvement and accountability. Roles & Responsibilities: Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. Responsible for team decisions. Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure effective team collaboration. Coach and mentor team members to enhance their Agile capabilities and promote self-organization. Identify and remove impediments that hinder the team s progress to maintain momentum and productivity. Support continuous improvement initiatives by gathering feedback and implementing best practices within the team. Professional & Technical Skills: Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM). Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum framework. Experience in facilitating Agile ceremonies and managing sprint cycles. Ability to use metrics and reporting tools to track team progress and project health. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration among diverse teams. Skilled in conflict resolution and problem-solving to support team dynamics. Additional Information: The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM). This position is based at our Hyderabad office. A 15 years full time education is required.
