We are looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to work at the intersection of engineering, AI, and customer delivery. You’ll partner directly with clients to understand complex business and technical challenges, rapidly design and build solutions, and integrate modern AI capabilities into real-world applications and systems. This role is ideal for an engineer who combines strong application development skills with a customer-focused mindset and enjoys taking solutions from initial discovery and architecture through implementation and deployment. Requirements: Strong proficiency in Python and experience building production-ready applications and services. Solid application engineering experience, including designing, developing, testing, and deploying scalable software solutions. Hands-on experience integrating AI/ML capabilities into applications and existing technology ecosystems. Strong experience designing and integrating APIs and distributed systems , including third-party services and enterprise platforms. Experience building solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI technologies. Experience working with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and/or GCP . Proficiency with TypeScript and modern application development frameworks. Experience with agent orchestration , AI workflows, tool calling, or similar agentic architectures. Strong customer-facing and consulting skills , with the ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Experience with solution architecture , including designing scalable systems and making technical decisions based on customer and business requirements. Ability to work closely with customer stakeholders, product teams, and engineers throughout the solution lifecycle. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to operate effectively in fast-moving, ambiguous environments. Bonus points: Experience delivering technical solutions directly within customer environments . Experience designing or implementing RAG, AI agents, or multi-agent systems . Exposure to MLOps, model deployment, and AI observability . Experience working in consulting, professional services, solutions engineering, or similar customer-facing technical roles. Experience rapidly building prototypes and proofs of concept and evolving them into production-ready solutions. Familiarity with modern data platforms, vector databases, and AI infrastructure. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
Next, learn who's hiring. Accenture has posted 2,801 engineer roles. andurilindustries, speechify, and jobgether are also actively recruiting. If you're applying to one of these names, research their hiring patterns and interview style before you apply. That homework pays off.
When you interview, expect the question every engineer hears: 'Tell me about a time you had to debug a problem that wasn't in your job description.' Have a specific story ready—not a general one. Name the tools, the deadline pressure, and what you learned. Hiring managers listen for whether you see problem-solving as part of the role itself, not a favour.
