Role As a DevOps Engineer, you will collaborate closely with the DevOps Lead, Infrastructure Manager, and software engineers to ensure the smooth maintenance of our existing infrastructure. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to contribute by suggesting and implementing new DevOps features and best practices. Description A DevOps Engineer plays a pivotal role within Toter's infrastructure team, responsible for optimizing the availability and performance of our application for our users. In this position, you will: Scale our infrastructure both vertically and horizontally to meet increasing demands efficiently. Proactively monitor our infrastructure to predict potential bottlenecks and formulate scalable, dependable, and efficient solutions. You'll deploy these solutions with a focus on minimizing risk. Enhance the security of our infrastructure to ensure the safety of our systems and data. Contribute to the ongoing migration of our technology stack from a monolithic application to a microservices architecture, building upon the progress we've already made. Assist in refining the software development lifecycle to align with the principles of continuous integration, delivery, and deployment. Key Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience). 3+ years of experience in DevOps or a DevOps related field such as System Admin etc serving a live product serving at least tens of thousands of customers. Advance knowledge of AWS including EC2, auto scaling, IAM, AWS Codedeploy, SQS, Elastic Cache, Postgresql. Have experience with container technology such as Docker, Kubernetes etc. Have experience setting microservices infrastructure. Nice to have Experience collaborating with product, engineering, marketing and operations teams. Previous experience with food delivery applications. Fluency in English and Arabic. French is a plus.
