ENVIRONMENT: A cutting-edge global FinTech company seeks the coding talents of a Full Stack Developer who is passionate about building scalable systems, joining its team on a mission to provide funding to the entrepreneurs who need it the most. You will design, develop, and maintain web applications using FAST API, [URL Removed] and TypeScript; leverage AWS services for deploying and managing applications while ensuring the robustness and reliability of applications through rigorous testing. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering or related tertiary qualification with 3+ years’ experience in a similar role and proficiency in Python, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Docker, AWS, FAST API / Flask & [URL Removed] / React. DUTIES: Development & Implementation - Design, develop, and maintain web applications using FAST API, [URL Removed] and TypeScript. Implement and maintain database systems using PostgreSQL. Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into efficient code. AWS & Cloud Services - Leverage AWS services for deploying and managing applications. Optimize applications for scalability and performance in a cloud environment. Ensure data security and compliance with AWS best practices. System Design & Architecture - Participate in the design of scalable system architectures. Evaluate and integrate new AI/ML technologies to enhance application capabilities. Collaborate in the planning of system and development deployment. Quality Assurance & Testing - Write and maintain Unit and Integration Tests. Ensure the robustness and reliability of applications through rigorous testing. Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems. Collaboration & Communication - Work in an Agile development environment. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders. Document development processes, code, and architectural decisions. REQUIREMENTS: Qualifications – Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Experience/Skills – 3+ Years of experience in Full Stack Software Development. Proficiency in FAST API / Flask, [URL Removed] / React, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL. Strong proficiency in solving complex problems with Python. Proficiency with Docker and containerised systems. Experience with designing scalable systems and cloud-based solutions. Strong understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment). Preferred to haves – Experience with NoSQL databases (DynamoDB). Experience in building event driven systems. Experience interacting with Zoho CRM and Sage Intacct. Familiarity in contributing to monolithic architectures. Proficiency in a wide range of AWS services and tools. Strong understanding of relational databases. Contributions to open-source projects or a robust GitHub portfolio. Comfort in writing Unit Tests, Integration Tests and Smoke Tests. ATTRIBUTES: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to details. Desired Skills: Full Stack Developer
