ENVIRONMENT: A leading Cloud Solutions company is seeking a Sales Specialist with deep expertise in CCaaS (Contact Center as a Service) sales. The ideal candidate must have a solid understanding of omni-channel solutions and experience working with similar applications. This role involves conducting advanced needs analysis, working with technical teams, and helping customers implement innovative contact centre solutions. The incumbent will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, supporting the Business Development team (BDL), and driving deals to successful closure. DUTIES: Pipeline & Revenue Ownership: Build and maintain a robust pipeline with accurate forecasting. Consistently meet or exceed new business revenue targets. Manage longer, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles effectively. Maintain high quality CRM data, including opportunity qualification, stakeholder mapping, and next steps. Adhere to the company’s pricing, contracting, and approval frameworks. Advanced Needs Analysis : Conduct thorough analysis of organisational requirements to determine the best solution for customers, considering business process system integration and customer journey enhancements. Solution Design : Collaborate with Technical Solution Teams and Business Process Analysts to bring customer solutions to life Customer Engagement: Deliver high-quality customer demonstrations of contact centre solutions, showcasing multiple communication channels, system integrations, and lateral business process understanding. Documentation & Presentation: Ensure all solutions are well-documented and presented clearly to both internal teams and customers. Market & Competitive Insight: Stay current on trends in UCaaS, CCaaS, AI agents, conversational AI, and digital CX. Provide market feedback to inform go-to-market and product strategies. Team Support: Act as the central point of contact to support the BDL team, helping drive customer deals to completion for all CCaaS opportunities. REQUIREMENTS: Qualification and Experience: Matric essential and relevant tertiary qualifications will be beneficial. Proven track record in sales and solution selling within the relevant industry. Proven experience in omni-channel solutions and CCaaS. Experience delivering customer demos and working across multi-channel communication platforms. Understanding of system integration, network solutions (Internet, VLANs) and how to create interoperable systems. Experience with CCaaS campaigns, dialer solutions, and contact centre technologies. Drivers licence and own reliable transport is essential. ATTRIBUTES: Ability to work with urgency and accuracy, balancing multiple priorities effectively. Sales-driven mindset with a history of meeting or exceeding targets.
