Our client is a leading provider of specialised training and professional services and is looking for an experienced Sales Manager to join their team. This role would suit a service-based B2B sales professional who has successfully sold into the mining, construction, petrochemical or engineering sectors . Requirements: Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Management or a related field Minimum 5 years’ experience in Sales Management or Sales Leadership Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets Strong B2B sales and business development experience Previous experience selling services into the mining, construction, petrochemical or engineering sectors Experience selling training, consulting, professional or technical services will be advantageous Proven experience leading, coaching and developing a sales team Strong negotiation, communication and client relationship skills Commercially and strategically minded Experience managing sales pipelines, forecasting and CRM activity Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle Willingness to travel Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement effective sales strategies Lead, coach and manage the sales team Drive new business and personally close key opportunities Identify and develop new market opportunities Build and maintain strong client relationships Manage sales pipelines, targets and forecasting Negotiate and close commercial agreements Monitor sales activity and performance Drive effective CRM usage and sales processes If you have a proven track record of selling services into these sectors and have the leadership ability to take a sales team to the next level, we want to hear from you.
