ENVIRONMENT: Our client is a leading international gaming, leisure, and entertainment group offering exciting and entertaining customer experiences, in venues or online. They are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who will work with a team of highly skilled people, all with opinions about various technologies, frameworks and approaches to delivery. You will be able to articulate your ideas to your colleagues effectively and will take on board the ideas of others. You will work with cross-functional teams to build mobile applications for both iOS and Android Platforms; this role will also provide an opportunity to mentor and guide intermediate and junior level software engineers and set the standard for success. DUTIES: Build and maintain the mobile application using Flutter Collaborate with designers and product managers to develop new features and improve existing ones Write clean, scalable, and efficient code Ensure that the application is optimized for performance and user experience Work with the team to identify and resolve technical issues Mentor and guide Intermediate and Junior Software Engineer and set the standard for them to follow Participate in code reviews and contribute to the team's best practices Co-ordinate with UI designers, tech leads, front end and backend developers to make sure the full stack code is optimal and performant. Development of features where you must: report problems on time, specify needs, and present status reports to delivery managers. Work closely with all members of geographically distributed agile teams to deliver high-quality code. Participate in all agile planning meetings and stand-ups. Take an existing piece of work and fix any issues associated with it. Strong affinity for software craftsmanship and a mindset toward Test Driven Development Perform unit and Integration level testing on all applications. Constantly monitoring new technology trends, frameworks, and approaches that deliver the best possible applications. REQUIREMENTS: 5+ years of experience in mobile application development Strong proficiency in Dart, Flutter, and related technologies Experience building mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms Knowledge of Bloc/Cubit or other state management libraries Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and web technologies Good working knowledge of software engineering principles and the whole software development lifecycle (SDLC). Good knowledge of Agile development methodologies Passion for gaming and the gaming community Desired Skills: Senior Software Engineer
