We’re looking for a Design Engineer to join our R&D team and help create next-generation unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). You’ll be involved in the entire design cycle — from concept to real product — working on advanced technologies and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This is a full-time office job. Candidates must be located in Kyiv. What is your Day to Day Mission: Create UAV designs using CAD systems (CATIA or similar). Perform structural and aerodynamic calculations, including FEM analysis. Work with composite materials and additive manufacturing technologies. Participate in building prototypes, conducting tests, and refining designs. Integrate electronic systems, propulsion units, sensors, and payloads into the overall design. Prepare and maintain technical documentation: drawings, specifications, and requirements. Cooperate with manufacturing teams to ensure design compliance and implement updates.

Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. When you interview, expect the question every engineer hears: 'Tell me about a time you had to debug a problem that wasn't in your job description.' Have a specific story ready—not a general one. Name the tools, the deadline pressure, and what you learned. Hiring managers listen for whether you see problem-solving as part of the role itself, not a favour.
