The Impact You'll Make As a Project Manager, Engineering , you will play a critical role in driving product enhancements that improve quality, cost, and compliance across our portfolio. You will lead cross functional teams through complex engineering change projects, ensuring successful execution from concept through production release. In this role, you will help bring new ideas to life by aligning people, resources, budgets, and timelines. Working closely with product management, engineering, manufacturing, and global teams, you will ensure projects deliver measurable business value while supporting operational excellence and continuous improvement. MUST APPLY ONLINE AT WWW.DANFOSS.COM What You’ll Be Doing Working as part of the project engineering team to coordinate the execution of design and development changes related to quality, cost, and compliance Defining project objectives, scope, and clear roles and responsibilities Identifying resource requirements and managing resource availability and allocation within the PEC group and across functional teams Preparing and executing comprehensive project plans, including key milestones, and coordinating activities to ensure successful release of changes to production Establishing project budgets based on requirements and tracking expenditures to ensure delivery within budget Collaborating with Global Product Owners and TPO/Product Managers to execute on Product Backlog items Partnering with the Product Development team to coordinate the handover of NPIs, including driving improvements on key performance metrics Coordinating globally with other sites on projects and tasks impacting products built across multiple locations Tracking project progress and providing regular updates and status reports to project teams and key stakeholders Managing communication and relationships within the project team and across stakeholders to ensure project outcomes meet expectations. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. 5 years experience with product design and development and/or engineering research, with at least 3 years focused on power electronics equipment. 3 years experience with 3-Dimensional CAD. 3 years experience with fabrication processes (e.g., Aluminum extrusion, High pressure injection molding, Thermal/Vacuum forming, Sheet metal forming, CNC machining, Metal Casting). 2 years experience integrating DFSS methodologies into product and process design improvements 2 years experience with Design for Manufacturing/Assembly 2 years experience with Teamcenter or other PLM Software, Polarion or other lifecycle management software, MS Office, and SAP.
