Your area of work: Group Credit Management's core objective is to ensure that our business activities are conducted within a sound and prudent credit risk framework, aligned with the bank's risk appetite and regulatory requirements. As a Credit Monitoring Officer, you will monitor credit exposures and risk developments across a range of business activities, helping to identify potential concerns at an early stage and ensuring that appropriate actions are taken. This position requires a solid understanding of credit and risk principles, regulatory requirements, and analytical tools. You will contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of monitoring processes and supporting IT systems, while providing informed analyses and recommendations to management. This role is offered on a one-year fixed-term contract until 31st August 2027. Your responsibilities: Monitor credit exposures and risk developments across a range of business activities and escalate potential concerns where appropriate. Review counterparties' compliance with approved credit and collateral limits and investigate breaches. Monitor early warning indicators and support the identification of emerging risks and mitigation measures. Perform data analysis and data quality checks to support monitoring activities and decision-making. Prepare regular management and regulatory reporting in a timely and accurate manner. Assess the impact of new regulatory requirements and support their implementation. Contribute to the enhancement of monitoring processes, controls, and reporting frameworks. Support the development of business requirements, as well as the testing and implementation of system and tool enhancements. Maintain policies, procedures, governance documentation, and reporting inventories. Collaborate with stakeholders across business, risk, and technology functions, providing timely analysis and recommendations. Your profile: Master's degree in a relevant field, combined with at least 3 years of practical experience in financial services, credit, risk, operations, compliance, or a similar environment. Good understanding of financial instruments, market, credit, and risk management concepts. Knowledge of relevant regulations would be considered an asset. Strong analytical and investigative mindset, with the ability to identify issues, draw sound conclusions, and make practical recommendations. Comfortable working with data, conducting investigations, and following processes with a high degree of accuracy and consistency. Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a structured approach to managing recurring monitoring activities and competing priorities. Experience preparing reports and maintaining procedures, guidelines, or other governance documentation. Strong time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to remain reliable and accurate under pressure. Good command of MS Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI or other data analysis tools would be an advantage. Strong team player with the ability to take initiative, assume responsibility, and work effectively both independently and in collaboration with colleagues across functions. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders across different functions. Excellent command of written and spoken English; additional languages are considered an advantage.
