Youll engage from pre-sales to production, providing solution proposals, design integration support, and field-level debugging assistance. This role is ideal for engineers who are technically hands-on, customer-oriented, and eager to grow in both system-level problem-solving and solution ownership. Key Responsibilities: Pre-Sales & Solution Definition: - Collaborate with Sales and Product Management to understand customer requirements and propose suitable camera or embedded vision solutions using e-con Systems products. - Participate in technical discussions, requirement gathering, and feasibility assessments, translating customer needs into clear technical deliverables. Support customer proof-of-concept (PoC) and evaluation activities to achieve design wins. Integration & Design Support: - Guide customers on hardware and software integration, including camera bring-up, image tuning, and performance optimization on embedded platforms. - Work hands-on with NVIDIA Jetson, Qualcomm, or ARM-based embedded platforms, debugging and configuring Linux drivers (V4L2, GStreamer, MIPI, USB, GMSL, Ethernet). Collaborate closely with internal engineering and QA teams to resolve issues and enhance product robustness. Production & Post-Deployment Support: - Assist customers during transition from prototype to production resolving manufacturing, firmware, or image-quality-related challenges. - Track and escalate recurring field issues, providing structured feedback to R&D; for continuous improvement. Maintain strong documentation for customer configurations and integration guides. Product Enablement & Knowledge Sharing: - Validate new camera modules, features, and SDK updates; provide actionable feedback to product and engineering teams. - Conduct technical trainings for distributors, customers, and partners to enhance adoption of e-cons products. Contribute to application notes, FAQs, and demo content in collaboration with the marketing and technical writing teams. Technical Skills: - Solid understanding of Embedded Systems, Linux (kernel & user space), and driver-level debugging. - Programming experience in C/C++ and Python, with working knowledge of shell scripting. - Familiarity with camera and imaging technologies Image sensors, ISPs, color tuning, exposure control, and video formats. - Hands-on experience with vision interfaces (USB 3.0, MIPI CSI-2, GMSL, GigE Vision) and media frameworks (V4L2, GStreamer, OpenCV). - Experience with AI inference on edge devices (Jetson / Qualcomm / NPU platforms) is a robust plus. Understanding of networked video streaming, latency, and bandwidth optimization desirable for surveillance use cases.
