Role Summary We are seeking a Test Engineer who will drive automation engineering across web, mobile, and backend systems. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in Selenium based automation along with the ability to lead framework design and drive quality practices across teams. Core Responsibilities Automation Engineering (Selenium Primary Stack) Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade automation frameworks primarily using Selenium, and secondarily using Playwright. Build and maintain end-to-end, integration, and regression test suites for web, backend, and API layers. Develop automation in Java / JavaScript / TypeScript using industry best practices. Implement cross-browser automation, parallel execution, and environment - aware configurations. Automate APIs and backend services using REST Assured, Postman, or equivalent. Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub, Actions, CircleCI). Reduce flaky tests, improve execution speed, and ensure reliability. Manage test data strategies, environment setup, configuration management, and reporting pipelines. Analyze failures and debug root causes. Maintain automation metrics such as coverage, pass rate, execution time, and CI health. Required Skills & Qualifications Selenium (Primary Stack) Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.Experience building frameworks using Page Object Model or similar.Experience with TestNG / JUnit , parallel execution, Selenium Grid, cross-browser testing. Playwright (Secondary Stack) Experience with Playwright Test Runner, fixtures, POM, parallel execution.Knowledge of Chromium, Firefox, WebKit testing.Network interception and CI integration. General Automation & Engineering 3-6 years of experience in testing.Proficiency in Java, JavaScript/TypeScript.Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and Agile SDLC.CI/CD, Git, and API automation experience.Excellent debugging and communication skills. Nice to Have Performance testing (JMeter, Gatling, k6)Docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow)Security testing exposure .
