About The Role As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will be a key architect of our embedded credit infrastructure, building highly scalable systems that power the $400Bn MSME credit opportunity. You will own the development of our APIfirst orchestration and data layers, ensuring a seamless, realtime lending journey for thousands of businesses. You will maintain high API efficiency and platform availability while integrating with complex thirdparty ecosystems. Key Responsibilities Design and develop highly performant, scalable web applications using Java and J2EE to handle millions of monthly API calls. Architect and implement robust integrations with thirdparty digital platforms (Ecommerce, Logistics, SaaS) and capital partners (Banks/NBFCs). Leverage AI tools and modern engineering practices to build, test, and deploy robust applications with speed and precision. Own the "Orchestration Layer" to customize products and processes for diverse B2B platform cohorts. Apply deep B2B user empathy to design intuitive digital workflows and "Platform OS" features like dashboards and monitoring tools. Core Competencies Bias for Action: A selfstarter mindset focused on high ownership and low hierarchy. B2B Empathy: Deep understanding of the friction points in MSME lending and a drive to simplify them. Clarity & Accountability: Strong communication skills to work across crossfunctional teams in a lean, fastpaced environment. Scalability Mindset: Focus on building longterm systems rather than incremental features. MustHave Requirements At least 5 years of relevant experience in platform or backend engineering. Expert proficiency in Java, J2EE, and Web services (REST/SOAP), SQL. Experience with Distributed Systems, async processing and Eventdriven architecture. Experience with database technologies like MySQL, Mongo, Redis, ElasticSearch. Handson experience with messaging technologies like Kafka, Airflow, etc. Familiarity with Cloud infrastructure such as GCP, AWS, Kubernetes. Fullstack preference: Ability to work across the stack to deliver endtoend features. Proven track record of building and maintaining highly scalable, performative web applications. Practical experience in leveraging AI tools to enhance the software development lifecycle. Skills: web services, B2B, API, Java, SQL. .
