Your Role As a Sr. Salesforce Developer, you’ll own the hands-on development of custom solutions on the Salesforce platform. You’ll work closely with Engineers, Systems Analysts, Solutions Architects, and Business Analysts to translate complex business requirements into robust, scalable, and high-quality code. A primary focus of this role will be enhancing and customising our Sales Cloud, CPQ, and Agentforce capabilities to optimise sales and billing operations and deliver AI-powered experiences for internal stakeholders. You’ll also help create a highly reliable, high-performance Salesforce environment that runs at scale, speed, and accuracy. In addition, you’ll help deliver valuable functionality to our internal customers within an agile environment. This position reports to our Sr. Director of Business Applications and has the opportunity to be based in our Bengaluru, India office. What You’ll Do Own the end-to-end development lifecycle, from design and coding to testing and deployment of high-quality, scalable custom solutions on the Salesforce platform. Develop and customize complex solutions within Salesforce Sales Cloud, CPQ, and related revenue operations capabilities to support the entire lead-to-cash lifecycle. Design and implement AI-powered workflows and experiences leveraging Agentforce, in close partnership with our Business Technology and AI teams. Partner with Solutions Architects and Business Analysts to translate business requirements into well-architected, secure, and performant technical solutions. Lead the implementation of complex development projects and integrations with third-party systems across our go-to-market and back-office stack. Follow and help evolve development best practices, including code standards, branching strategies, and CI/CD patterns, to ensure maintainable and resilient solutions. Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement through rigorous code reviews and constructive feedback. Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing effective solutions to maintain platform health. Skills You’ll Bring Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). 8+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, with a proven track record of building custom applications and integrations. Proven, in-depth experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and CPQ is mandatory, as a majority of the development work will be focused in these areas. Experience designing and implementing Agentforce-based solutions to deliver AI-powered experiences, copilots, and automated workflows on Salesforce. Expertise in Apex, SOQL/SOSL, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components, and Visualforce. Experience with Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP, Bulk, etc.) and building complex system integrations. Proficiency with modern development tools, including Salesforce DX, VS Code, and version control systems like Git, and CI/CD tools such as Copado or Gearset. Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants, especially Claude Code, to accelerate development while maintaining high standards of code quality, security, and reviewability. Strong understanding of secure coding practices, performance optimization, and scalable solution design on the Salesforce platform. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. Certifications Salesforce Platform Developer I and Platform Developer II certifications are required. Additional certifications in CPQ and Agentforce Specialist are a strong plus.
