Expert System Engineer (10 years, AWS, System Admin Support & DevOps Infra-IaC)- Remote, Pune, India For more information, please explore www.veradigm.com How you will make an impact: We are seeking a highly experienced Expert Systems Engineer / DevOps Engineer with 10+ years of hands-on experience designing, building, implementing, and supporting enterprise infrastructure across hybrid on-premises and cloud environments. This role requires deep technical expertise in Azure and AWS, strong automation and DevOps practices, and the ability to independently troubleshoot complex systems in production. The ideal candidate will play a key role in architecting secure, scalable, and highly available platforms while ensuring operational excellence and compliance with SOC 2 security and control requirements. Key Responsibilities Systems Administration & SupportManage and support Windows, Linux, and cloud-based servers (Azure, AWS, VMware).Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity; troubleshoot and resolve incidents.Provide Tier 3 support for escalated issues from IT support teams.Infrastructure & DevOpsImplement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).Automate system provisioning, configuration management, and deployments.Cloud & VirtualizationDesign and optimize cloud environments for scalability, security, and cost efficiency.Manage VMware clusters, storage systems, and networking.Support containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) where applicable.Security & ComplianceEnforce identity and access management best practices (Active Directory, LDAP, SSO, MFA).Implement and monitor security hardening, patching, and vulnerability management.Ensure compliance with company and industry standards (ISO, SOC2, HIPAA, etc.).Collaboration & LeadershipPartner with developers, network engineers, and security teams to deliver resilient solutions.Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance across the IT organization.Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and post-incident reviews.Ideal Candidate Profile 10+ years in Systems Engineering, DevOps, and IT Infrastructure roles.Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux administration.Hands-on experience with Cisco Hyperflex stack or equivalent.Hands-on experience with cloud platforms AWS.Hands-on experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Datadog).Expertise in automation & scripting Terraform. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully.
