Role Description The Accountant IT Services Industry will manage day-to-day financial operations, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, and preparing periodic financial statements for the consultancy. The role will involve overseeing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank and digital payment accounts, and ensuring accurate invoicing and revenue recognition for IT service contracts. Qualifications Strong foundation in general accounting principles, including transaction recording, ledger management, and preparation of financial statements. Experience in accounts payable/receivable, billing, collections, and bank account reconciliation, ideally within an IT services or consulting environment Experienced in GST filings, TDS filings, ESI, PF and other regulatory filings Skills in budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, and financial analysis to support project-based work and management reporting. Proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheets Understanding of tax regulations, compliance requirements, and internal control practices relevant to service-based businesses. Ability to work remotely with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and integrity in handling financial data. Effective written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA) are an advantage. Prior experience in start-ups, consulting firms, or technology companies is highly beneficial. .
