Job Summary The Senior Engineer QC (Electrical & Mechanical) is responsible for ensuring that all Electrical and Mechanical installations in Data Center projects comply with project specifications, approved drawings, international standards, client requirements, and quality procedures. The role involves inspection, testing, documentation, quality audits, and coordination with project teams to achieve defect-free execution. Key Responsibilities: Quality Control - Conduct quality inspections for Electrical and Mechanical installations throughout project execution. - Verify work execution against approved IFC drawings, specifications, method statements, and ITPs. - Monitor compliance with project quality standards and client requirements. - Ensure adherence to project quality plans and inspection schedules. - Review and approve material inspection requests (MIRs) and work inspection requests (WIRs). Electrical System Inspect installation: - HT/LT Switchgear - Transformers - DG Systems - UPS Systems - Battery Banks - Bus Ducts - Cable Trays & Cable Routing - Earthing & Lightning Protection - Lighting Systems - Fire Alarm & ELV Systems Mechanical System Inspect installation : - HVAC Systems - Chillers - CRAH/CRAC Units - Cooling Towers - Chilled Water Piping - Fire Fighting Systems - Plumbing & Drainage - Fuel Systems - Mechanical Equipment Installation Documentation: - Inspection Reports - NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) - Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA) - Method Statements - ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans) - Quality Checklists - Quality Dossiers - As-Built Documentation Coordination - Coordinate with Construction, Engineering, Planning, and Commissioning teams. - Interface with Client, Consultant, and Third-Party Inspection Agencies. - Participate in quality meetings and site walkthroughs. - Ensure timely closure of punch points and quality observations. Audits & Compliance - Support internal and external quality audits. - Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 Quality Management System. - Monitor implementation of corrective and preventive actions. - Promote continuous quality improvement across projects. . Experience - 6 - 12 years of experience in Electrical/Mechanical QA/QC. - Minimum 25 4ears of experience in Data Center construction projects. - Experience in Tier III/Tier IV Data Center projects is highly preferred. - Experience with hyperscale Data Centers is an added advantage. .
