The Role PowerShell (Scripting) Automation Specialist Microsoft 365 & Azure Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled PowerShell Automation Specialist to manage and enhance automation across Microsoft 365 services, Exchange environments, SharePoint Online, Azure Active Directory, and related platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong scripting capabilities, a deep understanding of Microsoft cloud technologies, and experience in building scalable automation workflows. Key Responsibilities: 1. PowerShell Scripting & Automation Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for O365 tasks including user provisioning, license management, mailbox configuration, and security settings. Build scripts from scratch based on business requirements. 2. Exchange Online & On-Premises Management Manage mailboxes, distribution groups, shared mailboxes, and migrations using PowerShell. Maintain and update scripts for hybrid Exchange environments. 3. SharePoint Online Automation Develop & use PowerShell scripts to manage SharePoint sites, libraries, lists, and permissions. Develop & Manage SharePoint sites customization 4. Azure Active Directory (AAD) Automate user, group, and role management in Azure AD using PowerShell. 5. Workflow Orchestration Design and implement workflows using Azure Logic Apps, Power Automate (Flow), and other orchestration tools for cross-service processes like onboarding and approvals. 6. Microsoft Graph API Update and optimise scripts to integrate Graph API as legacy utilities are deprecated. 7. SQL Scripting Maintain and enhance existing SQL scripts used in automation processes. 8. Power Platform Work across all components of the Power Platform including Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate. Required Skills & Experience: Minimum 8 years of Overall experience strong hands-on experience in PowerShell scripting. Proficiency with Microsoft Graph API for automation and data integration. Experience with GitHub for version control and collaboration. Solid understanding of REST API principles. Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365, especially M365 PowerShell modules. Ability to interpret requirements and develop automation solutions independently. Familiarity with Splunk for log analysis and reporting. Exposure to Neptune (internal/external tool usage). Working knowledge of ServiceNow (SNOW) for ITSM automation and reporting. Deep expertise within specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) Enterprise IT application experience Hands-on experience in at least one of the following: software development, DevOps engineering, systems administration, or systems architecture in public cloud AWS domain In-depth knowledge of Windows and Linux Operating Systems Must have experience driving for engineering solutions and working across teams Extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals Ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce conclusions and responses.
