AI Forward Deployed Engineer | Build AI Systems That Transform Businesses Evolvx Labs is an Enterprise AI Engineering Company with presence in India and Ireland, building the intelligence layer for modern enterprises. We develop production-grade AI systems that combine large language models, AI agents, retrieval systems, automation, and advanced software engineering to solve problems beyond the reach of traditional software. We are looking for a driven, problem-solving Forward Deployed Engineer to work directly with enterprise clients and build AI systems that solve real operational challenges. This is not a traditional software engineering role. You will work at the intersection of technology and business, understanding how companies operate, identifying inefficiencies, and building technology that transforms the way they work. From custom enterprise platforms and intelligent automation to LLM-powered applications, you will help turn complex business problems into scalable AI solutions. If you enjoy solving difficult problems, working closely with customers, and building systems that create measurable business impact, this role is for you. https://evolvxlabs.com/ The Role As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will work closely with enterprise clients throughout the entire project lifecycle. You will understand business processes, analyse workflows, identify opportunities for technology and AI, and work with our engineering team to design, build, and deploy solutions. Every client and problem is different. You will need to learn quickly, think independently, and adapt to new technologies and business environments. Key Responsibilities Work Directly With Clients Understand how businesses operate by working closely with founders, managers, and operational teams. Analyse Business Workflows Study processes across areas such as sales, operations, inventory, finance, production, logistics, and HR to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for automation. Design AI Solutions Translate business requirements into practical software architecture, AI workflows, and intelligent automation systems. Build Enterprise Applications Help design and develop customised enterprise platforms, internal tools, dashboards, and AI-powered applications. AI Integration Implement AI capabilities including LLMs, AI agents, RAG, intelligent search, document understanding, and workflow automation. Full Stack Development Develop frontend and backend components required to deliver reliable, production-ready systems. System Integration Integrate third-party platforms including CRMs, ERP systems, accounting software, databases, APIs, communication tools, and other business applications. Deployment & Improvement Work with the engineering team to deploy solutions into real customer environments, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve the systems. Why Join Us Become Part of the Core Team Join Evolvx Labs at an early stage and work directly with the founding team. Your work will have a direct influence on the products, technology, and direction of the company. Build Real AI Systems Work on production AI systems, enterprise platforms, automation workflows, and live client projects rather than only internal prototypes. Work Across Industries Gain first-hand exposure to how different businesses operate and solve problems across multiple industries. High Learning Opportunity Develop skills across AI engineering, full-stack development, enterprise systems, solution design, business analysis, and client interaction. Growth With the Company As Evolvx Labs scales, strong performers will have opportunities to take on increasing technical and leadership responsibility. Startup Environment Fast-paced, execution-driven culture where you will have real ownership and the opportunity to make a visible impact. Who Should Apply We are looking for people who are curious, technically capable, and comfortable figuring things out. You do not need to know everything. You need the ability to learn quickly, solve problems independently, communicate well, and build. If you have built something interesting, worked on a challenging project, or experimented with AI outside your coursework, we want to hear about it. 144,883 engineer jobs are open right now

Here's how to pick the right one and stand out in your application.

144.883Jobs

That number is real. WorkMundi's database shows 144,883 open engineer roles across the world. India has the most with 31,687 jobs, followed by the United States with 30,084. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.

Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.

Next, learn who's hiring. Accenture has posted 2,801 engineer roles. andurilindustries, speechify, and jobgether are also actively recruiting. If you're applying to one of these names, research their hiring patterns and interview style before you apply. That homework pays off.

When you interview, expect the question every engineer hears: 'Tell me about a time you had to debug a problem that wasn't in your job description.' Have a specific story ready—not a general one. Name the tools, the deadline pressure, and what you learned. Hiring managers listen for whether you see problem-solving as part of the role itself, not a favour.
