Data Product Owner - SAP HUB Opella is hiring key contributors to onboard Opella Digital transformation journey and to embrace the Digital capabilities. SAP systems are a key component of this digital transformation. Opella uses an important number of SAP systems, and one of the main objectives of the CHC SAP HUB is to extract, union and provide data of these SAPs for the different consumers (Data Foundations, Data Products, IA, Reporting, ). The Product Owner will define the objectives of the team, feed the backlog by collecting and answering business expectations, ensuring the delivery, respecting the SLA defined and playing a significant role in quality control. The SAP HUB is also a key component for classical SAP reporting, which facilitates the development of reporting solutions thanks to the fact all SAP data are available in one place. Main responsibilities: Define the prioritization of business stakeholders' requirements and its continuous refinementCommunicate the product vision and roadmap in alignment with broader organization goalsNegotiate Yes/No with the partners and with the delivery team; empowered to make decisions related to product features, backlog prioritization, release planning.Define user stories and accept them from the delivery team.Ensures good practices in architecture to meet applicable quality, regulatory (Data Privacy, GxP, SOX, etc.) and cybersecurity requirements.Own the definition, set up, and execution of test cases to ensure the solution meets functional and non-functional requirementsWork with architects and provide guidance to stakeholders to define the best way to provide reportingEnsure the development of a unified model as output of the SAP HUBCollaborate closely with functional and technical SAP experts to facilitate extraction and to ensure integrity of the data in the SAP HUBCollaborate with partners, Digital M&S, Digital Corporate, Digital Commercial and local & regional partners, plus with Sanofi SAP HUB teamLead operational performance indicators and technical metricsEnsure the resolution of potential issues during extractionsProvide consistent updates to leadership and executives, making communication easy and clear regarding product issues and decisions to be made. Support business case creationPromote usability standards and design solutions with a high-qualityProactively monitor the daily jobs to ensure SLA are respectedAnimate the daily and agile ceremoniesPrepare and maintain training material and SOPs, knowledge base articles and technical documentation Core Experience (Must-Have) Hands-on data extraction using SAP BW Extractors and CDS ViewsStrong data modeling experience with SAP BW and CDS ViewsProven track record extracting SAP data into modern data platforms: Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, or equivalent cloud data ecosystemsTechnology Stack (Nice-to-Have) Working knowledge of SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) and SAP DatasphereFamiliarity with the broader SAP analytics ecosystem and integration patternsCherry on the Cake (Differentiators) Experience extracting data to hyperscalers via BDC / Datasphere using Zero Copy functionalityPrimary: DatabricksSecondary: SnowflakeDemonstrated delivery of zero-copy data sharing architectures in productionAdditional Valuable Skills Exposure to FinOps practices for cloud data workloadsExperience designing D&A hybrid architectures (on-prem SAP + cloud analytics)Important: these are complementary strong SAP background is non-negotiable Profile Summary A senior data engineer / architect with deep SAP extraction and modeling expertise, capable of bridging traditional SAP BW environments with modern lakehouse / cloud platforms, ideally through next-gen BDC and Datasphere zero-copy patterns.
